Bacceschi Landscape

Dennis Bacceschi’s most recent completed painting, a mountain landscape, on display in his home. The bust on the cabinet to the left of the painting is a self-portrait by Bacceschi’s uncle, Angelo Gepponi, who served as a cook in the U.S. Army during World War II, and would use his art to document daily life in the Pacific theater. Baccheschi had a close relationship with his uncle, who would critique his nephew’s work and give him pointers. (Photo courtesy of Dennis Baccheschi)
